Since 2013

Supporting Hand Foundation (SHF) started in 2013 whilst I was in my final year at the University of Development Studies (UDS, WA campus).

I realized a lot of people, especially the physically challenged, women and children are not privileged to a lot of things, thus the opportunity to good health facilities, education and skilled labour to gainfully enable them to get employed.

In view of this I took upon myself to come up with this together with other stakeholders to put a smile on their faces.

Our Motto: Rescu the perishing

our Mission

Our mission is to empower women and children by promoting gender equality, protecting human rights, and improving access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and other resources that promote their well-being.

We work to prevent violence against women and children, provide support services for survivors of gender-based violence, and advocate for policy change that promotes gender equality and protects human rights.

Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to create a world where every woman and child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Our  vision
Promoting Access to Education
Education is a key factor in improving the well-being of women and children. Women and child well-being organizations may work to increase access to education, particularly for girls, and provide resources such as school supplies and scholarships.
Addressing Malnutrition
Malnutrition is a major issue affecting women and children in many parts of the world. Women and child health organizations may work to improve access to nutritious food, promote breastfeeding, and provide education on healthy eating habits.
Providing Economic Opportunities
Economic empowerment is important for empowering women and children. Women and child empowerment organizations may work to provide skills training, microfinance programs, and other resources that help women become financially independent.
Improving Access to Healthcare
Access to healthcare is essential for promoting the well-being of women and children. Women and child well-being organizations may work to improve access to healthcare services, including maternal and child health services, reproductive health services, and mental health services.
Establishment of Libraries
Building of libraries in rural communities to enhance education in those areas.
